Financial AssistanceWe recognize that not everyone has the resources they need to obtain medical care. For that reason, we are happy to offer Financial Assistance to those in need. If you have received HAMC services and find it would be a hardship to cover them financially, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance.
If you reside in Miller, Baker or Calhoun County, we offer a Financial Assistance Program. For an appointment with a Financial Counselor to determine if you are eligible, please call(229) 785-3554. Your information will be evaluated for financial assistance.
If you do not reside in Miller, Baker or Calhoun County and you come to HAMC for non-emergency or non-specialty medical care, you will be required to pay in full for your medical services before you will be seen by a healthcare provider. We encourage all uninsured and underinsured patients to complete the financial assistance process so that you can receive the appropriate discount for services. Those who do not go through financial assistance will be asked to pay the full cost of their care.
If you have questions about your bill or insurance, please contact Patient Financial Services at (229) 785-3554, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
